Ladera Ranch
About as old as this century, this 4,000-acre master-planned community is located east of Mission Viejo along Antonio Parkway. Located next to San Juan Capistrano and Mission Viejo, construction of this unincorporated planned community began in 1999. It is now an active suburban community where their residents enjoy recreational parks, clubhouses, shopping, and trails for joggers, hikers, and bikers About as old as this century, this 4,000-acre master-planned community is located east of Mission Viejo along Antonio Parkway. It is built on portions of the O’Neill, Avery, & Moiso family’s 23,000-acre Rancho Mission Viejo cattle ranch which is the largest remaining working ranch in Orange County. To create a sense of community, Ladera Ranch villages are broken into districts which are then broken into individual neighborhoods. Miles-long Ladera Ranch Trail connects the entire community, as well as much of the 1,600 acres of open space.
